Optics.org: Idriverplus Sees Lidar as “Indispensable” to Autonomous Vehicles

Lidar provides autonomous vehicles with rich computer perception data that allows real-time object and free space detection for safe navigation and reliable operation.

Optics.org wrote an article about how Velodyne lidar sensors are being used in all Idriverplus self-driving vehicles, which include street cleaners, passenger cars, and logistics vehicles.
