In the video below, Navya presents how its Autonom Shuttle, operated by Keolis on behalf of Ile-de-France Mobilités, is integrating autonomous shuttles into the public transport network in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France. The all-electric shuttles are zero emission vehicles that are equipped with Velodyne’s lidar sensors.
The video illustrates the added value of an autonomous mobility service dedicated to first/last mile transportation. Autonom Shuttles, which are not equipped with a steering wheel or pedals, take passengers along a 1.6 km path on an open road, in complete interaction with other roadway users. The shuttle uses V2X technology to communicate with infrastructure, including traffic lights.
