Partha Narasimhan of Velodyne Lidar was a guest on the Forbes India Tech Briefing Podcast to discuss the launch of our company’s new India Design Center in Bangalore. Partha is Vice President of Engineering and Managing Director of the India Design Center.

Partha spoke with podcast host Harichandan Arakali on how the new center furthers our growth strategy to drive continuous innovation in lidar sensor and software solutions that transform lives by advancing safe mobility and smart communities.

The conversation explored how the center will tap into Bangalore’s rich talent ecosystem. Our careers page features positions we are focused on, which include skills in hardware, FPGA, embedded software, board design, systems engineering, ASIC, perception software, functional safety and cyber security.

In addition to research and development activities, the center will foster customer and partner opportunities in India for lidar-based solutions in automotive and new mobility.
